Well, spring has defiantly sprung at Cargurra. The daffodils are in full bloom and the farm has been as busy as ever. Tilling happened this week. Julian was up very late rolling the fields after the seeds had been sewn. He borrowed a roller this year that was much wider than the roller we had used previously. That meant that we could roll much quicker. We had our second batch of calves delivered this week, we now have nearly 30. Julian feeds them every morning and they drink an amazing 80 litres.
The cattle have all gone out onto the spring grass now. They are enjoying this beautiful weather and why wouldn’t they!
We have had solid sunshine over the last 2 weeks and the surf has been good too. What a fantastic time to visit Cornwall.
